Jaxon Howell

Jaxon Howell is a Canadian hat maker based in Vancouver, Canada, specializing in custom beaver felt and straw hats.

He's known for crafting one-of-a-kind pieces designed to reflect each client’s personality, story and style.

Before hat making, he worked in custom furniture and millwork, where he developed a strong foundation in craftsmanship and design.

In 2020, he redirected his creative eye toward millinery, teaching himself the trade through experimentation and practice. What began as a hobby quickly turned into a full-time pursuit as demand for his beautiful custom hats grew locally and internationally. 

Every hat Jaxon creates is adorned with the signature Jaxon Howell nail, a nod to the hat maker's woodworking background, and emphasizes heirloom quality, nostalgic craftsmanship, and effortless self-expression.

As he says, "Everyone looks good in a hat. You just haven't found the right one."

When he's not in his studio, you'll find him on an adventure with his wife and Aussie Doodle, Tater.
